Lara Logan
Lara Logan, born 29 March 1971 was a South African radio and television journalist and war reporter. She was a CBS News reporter from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes' executive producers Jeff Fager and Lara Logan said that her inaccurate and politically biased report on the 2012 Benghazi attacks "the most glaring error of my entire decade of watching." In 2019 she joined Sinclair Broadcast Group, which is a conservative-leaning media firm. 4 On January 4, 2020, she was a part of Fox Nation. Fox News operates a subscription streaming site. She stated that she had been "dumped by the network" in March 2022. Logan was a reporter for the Sunday Tribune of Durban during her studies (1988-1989), followed by the Daily News of the city (1990-1992). She joined Reuters Television Africa in 1992 as an executive producer. After four years then, she switched to freelance journalism. Assignments included those as producer/reporter/editor for ITN, Fox/SKY News in London, CBS News, ABC News in London, NBC, NBC and European Broadcasting Union. CNN was her homebase, where she reported on events such as 1998's United States embassy bombings, in Nairobi and Tanzania. Also, the ongoing conflict between Northern Ireland and Kosovo.
