Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Psaki, the eldest of three daughters was born in Stamford, Connecticut in 1978 to psychotherapist[8] Eileen (nee Dolan) Medvey[9] and Dimitrios "James" R. Psaki (Greek: Demetrios R. Psakes), a retired real estate developer whose grandfather had emigrated from Greece in 1904 and her grandmother was of Irish descent. The couple got married in 1976. Psaki has Polish ancestry. She graduated from Greenwich High School, 1996. She graduated from College of William & Mary in 2000 with a degree both in English and sociology. She is an active Chi Omega sorority member. At William & Mary, Psaki was a competitive backstroke swimmer with the William & Mary Tribe athletic team for two years. Psaki's professional career started in 2001, when she was involved in the re-election campaigns for Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democrat for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack, a candidate for governor. Psaki was then appointed as the press secretary deputy for John Kerry's presidential campaign in 2004. Psaki was in the position from 2005 until 2006 as communications director to Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, and also as the regional press secretary to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC announced that Psaki will be a political analyst throughout 2022 United States elections and during the 2024 presidential campaign. In 2023, she will host a show for MSNBC's Peacock streaming channel. Her first television appearance came on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in which she spoke about the shooting at Robb Elementary School shooting.
