Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24, 1981) is an American political commentator. She was previously a political candidate, and also a television host at MSNBC and a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and former co-host of The Hill's Rising along with Saagar Enjeti. In the month of May, 2021 Ball and Enjeti announced that they would be leaving the show in order to release their own independent project, titled Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is a cohost of the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has made guest appearances on various networks, including CNN, CNBC, Fox News and shows like Real Time with Bill Maher. As of 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball says that she has a greater interest in politics to being the mother of 2008's primary elections. Also, she watched the US election outcome during her time in Jordan. She observed how it affected people in that country and gained a greater appreciation for the global influence of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. She co-hosted the MSNBC show The Cycle from June 2012 until July 2015. She co-hosted The Cycle, a show on MSNBC, from June 2012 through July 2015.
